When Ink Stain Design launched in 2002, beveling was the hot design trend and new websites only had to be tested on two browsers. While much has changed over the past seven years, our commitment to effective design, honest service, and fair prices remains the same.

The new year is a time for change
With the start of a new year, thoughts naturally turn toward change and improvement, so I guess that's why January is our most popular month for website modification requests. So far we've been working on updates for
Don Mould's Plantation,
Garnish Writers,
DBIO and
Seth Green, and the month is only half over.

Welcome to the new InkStainDesign.com
You know the story about the shoemaker's kids always going barefoot? Well this website has been asking for new shoes for the past two years, but client work never left us any time. Finally this year I got serious and after eight months of chipping away, the new and improved InkStainDesign.com is finally ready to launch. Take a look around and then
let us know what you think.

Butterfinger bonanza
Thanks to the fine folks at Golin Harris who are handling
Seth Green's new Butterfinger ad campaign, the Ink Stain offices are overflowing with crispety, crunchety goodness. Over 150 Butterfinger bars arrived in two separate FedEx shipments this month, which should be enough to keep the local dentist in business for at least another year.

A poet and you didn't know it
Most of my clients don't realize that in addition to being a designer, I'm also a writer. For nearly 10 years, I've been authoring the Roads Report column for
Roads & Bridges magazine, the most trusted source for road and bridge construction news (and also the place where I started my design career). It's a humor column, so if you're in need of a chuckle, check out my work
here.
